Laws and Info


Everest will only serve legally qualified patients and caregivers. Under no circumstances whatsoever are services provided to persons who are not qualified under New Mexico law. You must become a registered patient to obtain medicine.

Items needed for Membership:

NM Medical Cannabis Card. Must be the original card (not a copy) for verification. You may email a scanned copy of your card to info@everestnm.com or submit it in person during your first visit.

New Mexico State issued ID

Registration Form. Fill out the Membership Registration Form online or in person at Everest Apothecary. New patients will need to sign our HIPAA consent forms in person during their first visit.

NM Cannabis Program

In 2007, New Mexico legislators adopted a medical cannabis program for the state through the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act.

The purpose of the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act is to allow the beneficial use of medical cannabis in a regulated system for alleviating symptoms caused by debilitating medical condition.

There are currently 22 medical conditions recognized by the New Mexico Cannabis Program:

  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
  • Cancer
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Epilepsy
  • Glaucoma
  • Hepatitis C
  • Huntington’s Disease
  • Hospice Care
  • Inclusion Body Myositis
  • Spinal Cord Damage with Intractable Spasticity
  • Inflammatory autoimmune-mediated arthritis
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Damage to the nervous tissue of the spinal cord
  • Painful Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Severe Chronic Pain
  • Severe Anorexia/Cachexia
  • Spasmodic Torticollis
  • Ulcerative Colitis
  • Cervical Dystonia

$55 for all renewals
